Product/Service Summary — “eWork-Out”
eWork-Out Business Processes Limited offers a Change Management and Business Process Improvment (BPI) service for organisations ‘burned out’ by notions of constant change and continuous improvement: companies suffering ‘change fatigue’, also known as “initiative overload”, or “acute repetitive change syndrome”(!); where a culture of cynicism may well have surfaced.
At eWork-Out's heart is a series of (typically, three-day) workshops specifically designed to give people in your organisation the tools to solve business problems and improve processes collaboratively and effecitively. The workshops (known as Work-Outs) are tightly structured and ordered, but eWork-Out is a good deal more than ‘just another meeting’!
The service is divided into three areas:
1. Preliminary Planning — where we clarify your requirements and define the purpose, objective and scope of the eWork-Out. We assign one or more qualified eWork-Out advocate(s) to help identify the issues, communicate expectations, identify participants and prepare your business leaders for the eWork-Out(s). Preliminary planning includes:
- Interviewing client personnel and analysing the information obtained
- Determining the best configuration — numbers of participants, number of eWork-Outs — for achieving the objectives
- Scheduling and estimating work hours for achieving the necessary results
- Identification and recommendation of an eWork-Out plan, including discussion with the client's management about specific characteristics of the participants, leadership panel and location of the eWork-Out(s)
- Preparation of a draft agenda for the eWork-Out(s), defining a base line of minimum objectives and coaching business leaders.
2. Session Coordination — where our qualified eWork-Out advocates will use specific methods to facilitate problem solving and to develop action plans. The session is used to:
- Build teams
- Build skills
- Prioritise issues.
The advocates run the various workshops and the “Town Hall” meeting with Business Leaders, facilitate “Yes/No” decisions on each recommendation and structure individual, team and Business Leader commitments.
3. Follow-up — providing the instructing client with the ability to ensure that the eWork-Out session(s) achieve the desired results. Our advocates will:
- Review each recommendation and action plan with principal stakeholders
- Document outcomes and disseminate results to the participants and communicate beyond
- Track accomplishments and outcomes of action items, ensuring that all individuals responsible for follow-up activities are fully aware that they have been tasked
- Provide necessary support.
eWork-Out's change acceleration programme is designed to apply to projects and issues which your business is currently working on and which it has prioritised strategically. We usually customise eWork-Out's programmes to fit the needs of your organisation, as follows:
LEVEL A: Strategic organisation-wide
For larger-scale corporates, involving six to eight weeks' planning
time, three or more eWork-Outs (each lasting three to five days) —
fixed POA
LEVEL B: Functional business unit
For corporates/SMEs, involving four to six weeks' planning time, two or more eWork-Outs (each lasting two to three days) — fixed POA
LEVEL C: Departmental level
For SMEs, involving two to four weeks' planning time, one or more eWork-Out (each lasting one to two days) — fixed POA
LEVEL D: “Express” Work-Out
For small and SOHO organisations, involving up to one week's planning time, one or more eWork-Out (each lasting one day) — Day Rate
